Old Saybrook, CT - August 1, 2005 - The Bearing Group and Corporate LAN Consultants today announced that they have reached an agreement to merge the two companies and market, sell and deliver their combined services under The Bearing Group brand. The merger will be effective August 15, 2005 and the integration of the two companies is targeted to be completed by August 31, 2005. "This is a great day for both companies. Our businesses compliment each other perfectly and our combined capabilities will further enhance our market leadership positions," said Robert Hester, Founder and Managing Partner of The Bearing Group. Old Saybrook, CT - July 11, 2005 - The Bearing Group today announced that it has been selected by Emergent Communications to be the primary provider of telecommunications and data network consulting services under the Emergent brand. The agreement also allows for the marketing and sale of Emergent services under The Bearing Group. "VoIP is one of the most exciting areas in the industry today.
